The RX-8 comes from the factory with some pretty awesome brakes, but there's always room for improvement with the addition of performance/racing brake pads and stainless steel brake lines, things the factory saves money on by using materials that will get you by for street duty. When it comes time to hit the track though, you'll want to step up from the basics. Any RX-8 that sees track duty MUST be equipped with a brake pad that can handle the additional heat and a good racing brake fluid that won't boil over. Most people go to Stage 2 with the brakes and add Stainless Steel brake lines and upgraded rotors. And if you're wanting the ultimate in stopping power, stepping up to a full blown big brake kit might be an option for you. Whatever stage you choose, we have the parts you need!
