On a budget? We all are really. This system was designed for Spec Miata racers by a Spec Miata racer, and is designed to work seamlessly with all Spec Miata racecars. All Rumblestrip Racing Lap Timers use predictive lap timing, which is a method of timing that continuously updates your current lap giving you the difference, either + (slower) or - (faster) than your previous best. This is incredibly useful in practice and qualifying, as you can try different lines, braking points, and apexes around the track and get instant feedback on whether your new line or braking point actually worked or not. The driver is the biggest difference in Spec Miata, and most other forms of auto racing. This upgrade will definitely be the best bang for your buck as far as getting lower lap times. For the racer looking to go faster, the secret to better lap times is not in the go fast parts (which are minimal in Spec Miata), they are in driver improvement. Rumblestrip Racing Predictive Lap Timers will improve your lap times as it improves the driver.
