The owners and racers at 5x Racing have been brainstorming about innovative new products for the racing community since we started racing several years ago. Many of days have been spent at our race shop staring at our Spec Miata race cars thinking about how we can make them faster, easier to drive, more reliable, more comfortable, better looking, and it had to be something that was not already available in the Spec Miata marketplace. The first product we developed was our 5xR Grip Plate, it has been in use in our race cars for over 2 years and has became something that we now cannot race without. It is also something that is overlooked as far as race parts go, as most of us have learned to deal with the uneven footwell floorpans in our racecars. The Grip Plates work great. I put the grip side up on the driver side and the diamond plate side up on the passanger side. So I can have great pedal feel with the addition of the Loud Pedal. So now I am confident that I can still drive hard in the rain with out worrying my foot will slip off.

Awesome product.....Designed by racers for racers. I've had one in my car for several months and it is very easy now, to get in and out of the car. Even in rain/wet conditions. Far better than plain old grip tape(skateboard). Keep up the great work 5x (John and Rick).
