The NASA Pro Racing rules require every production based vehicle be fitted with either a halo, head restraint type racing seat, or a center net (right side net). The center net protects the drivers from flying debris entering through the right side of the car, also in the event of a side impact the net will catch the drivers head and eliminate excessive side to side movement. The net attaches to a strong point within your dash or front roll cage bar, and wraps around the back of your seat to attach to the roll cage upright around the left back of your seat. This is a great idea to have in any car, whether it is a NASA registered car or SCCA as it is for safety. While this Safe-Quip Center Net is an affordable option to get you in the game, we would recommend the sturdier Safety Solutions C5R Center Net that we use in all of our 5X Racing Spec Miata's.
Five adjustable mounting points allow the Racequip Roll Cage Net to be used in a variety of applications. This versatile product will fit everything from quarter midgets and sprint cars all the way on up to a full-size stock car. Nets adjust from 28” to 56” in length and 12” to 40” in height to fit any application. The cage nets are constructed of 1” heavy-duty polypropylene webbing and sewn with nylon thread for durability. The premium friction lock hardware allows quick and easy installation and adjustment.
