Welcome to the 5X Racing Team Support Program!
What is it?
The 5X Racing Team Support Program is a program that we have created to help give back to Spec Miata racers by offering a discount membership to help with the parts that they need to build, maintain, and fix their Spec Miata race cars. The program is targeted and designed for the true grassroots guys that are waging war deep in the grids of Spec Miata races across the country, whether it be NASA or SCCA. We feel that these racers are the core of the class and the ones that will keep it going strong, so we want to help them with the costs of Spec Miata racing by making the parts a little cheaper for them to maintain their race cars, which we feel with help keep participation in Spec Miata consistent and strong.
How do I participate in the 5XR Team Support Program?
It's very easy and very similar to the Mazdaspeed Motorsports Development Team Support Program, in fact it was actually designed after Mazda's program. Here is what we require from you (the Spec Miata racer):
One 22" sticker on each side of the car, in plain sight. Anywhere on the side is acceptable, just as long as it is visible.
One 18" sticker on the hood of your car, preferably on the front most portion near the front bumper.
You will also receive "slap it" style stickers that are small and can be put anywhere you desire. You can be creative with the slap it stickers, have fun with them!
After you apply the stickers on your car, take several pictures of the stickers on your car to show us that you have the stickers on the car in acceptable positions. Once we receive the pictures, we will pick out the best pictures and feature them on our Team website in the "Team Support Program" picture gallery. You can show off your car on our site and even tell us a little about yourself to put along with the pictures!
What do I get in return for running the sticker package?
In return for running our sticker package, you will be initiated into our Team Support Program. You will have to create an account on our site when you purchase this sticker package, this account will allow you access to the special pricing on applicable products on our site and more specifically within the "Spec Miata Parts" category. It is very easy to find the prices of the parts, just log in to our site using your account information, choose what you are looking for on our site and your price will be automatically shown as the purchase price. We will focus our discount pricing on items that are regular maintenance items that you use a lot of on your race cars, things like: brake pads, rotors, fluids, safety gear, and everything we can think of that you might use on your Spec Miata! The only items that are not applicable are wheels and tires, and items that the manufacturer has strictly forbid us to go below MAP pricing on. We will do our best to give you the best deals available within our pricing power!
What do I need to do to keep my membership?
Keeping your membership is easy. The only thing we require for you to keep your membership valid is send us your race results (a link to your mylaps is preferred), and send us updated pictures at least once a year to ensure to us that you still have the stickers on your car. That's it!
