Welcome to the 5X Racing Research and Development Center
At 5X Racing we do not only race cars, we develop custom made racing parts, build prototypes of the parts, track test the parts on our fleet of racecars, and eventually put our parts on the market here at 5XRacing.com. We take pride in being very innovative and technically gifted, our work and development talent shows in our racecars and parts.
Not only do we develop unique race parts, but we also do research for the racing industry and even on street cars. Our most recent research project was Project MPG, where we performed a year long test and monitored the fuel efficiency of our street driven 2007 Mazda RX-8. We performed a variety of tests and modifications to determine if there was a way to increase the fuel mileage efficiency of the not so efficient rotary engine. 5X Racing can help you realize an idea or part that you would like to create for the racing industry. We are Miata specialists, so Miata based ideas would be the most familiar to us, but if you have an idea for a race part and do not know how or do not have the resources to make a prototype, we can assist you in making the part. We can also race test your prototype parts to determine if they meet the rigors of track competition.
