Racing Beat Competition Race Pipe for 2016-22 MX-5 ND

The Racing Beat MX-5 ND Competition Race Pipe (2-piece) is intended to replace the stock mid-pipe on the MX-5, thereby eliminating the integrated secondary catalytic converter.

Manufactured using 16-gauge, 2.375-inch OD stainless steel tubing, this race connecting pipe features mandrel bends and OEM style connecting flanges. Designed as a bolt-on component, this connecting pipe is easy to install and utilizes all existing mounting brackets and hangers, and includes all required gaskets and assembly hardware.

This Race Pipe section will mate to the outlet of the stock exhaust manifold, and the inlet of the stock muffler or the Racing Beat Muffler. This complete, 2-piece race pipe assembly weighs 13.75 lbs.

Emissions Note
The stock mid-pipe includes a position for the secondary oxygen sensor before the catalytic converter. The Racing Beat Competition Race Pipe includes an oxygen sensor position in a similar position. Since a factory-placed catalytic converter is being removed by the installation of this component, this race pipe is NOT considered emissions legal for street use and can be installed ONLY for off-highway racing applications.
