All of these components are available separately on our site, use the search function to find them quickly. We don't offer brake fluid in this package because it just didn't make sense to us as the brake fluid needed for the clutch system isn't subjected to as much heat as the brakes - and will never boil over - so we felt it was spending unnecessary money on expensive racing brake fluid when you can just run up to the local parts store and use any old DOT 3 and be fine, like we do in our racecars.
Description
This kit is designed to provide you with all of the necessary parts to overhaul your Miata's fastest failing part, the clutch slave cylinder, and it's related components. While we have the slave cylinder for sale by itself, there are other things that should be done when it's time to replace the slave cylinder, building a race car, or if you're planning to head out on the track. Slave cylinders can fail unexpectedly and ruin a track weekend you paid several hundred dollars for, so check out our kit which includes a recommended rehab plan for your clutch systems hydraulic system.

First off, PayPal messed up my order status, but was quickly resolved by 5X. At midnight! Couldn't believe someone at a business would help way after closing hours. That's true customer service! The parts: Great fit on my 1990 Miata. Went on and worked just like factory parts. Clutch feel is strong and responsive with quick return of pedal. Will be ordering possibly ALL of my parts from 5X from now on.

I ordered this part on a Friday, it shipped on Tuesday, only because the braided clutch line was out of stock on Monday, it arrived on Wednesday. Brittany I believe is her name, personally took my package to UPS(after hours I think) so it would ship that day. The install went smoothly and it functions well. Well done 5x on every level

The cure for difficult shifting! This was the best price I could find for both the master and the slave cylinder.The braided line is a great replacement for a rubber line that was 25 years old. Ordered on Wednesday, received it on Saturday and was shifting smoothly by Saturday night.

Completely solved my clutch issues. Sometimes in traffic the car would start to creep forward(kinda like an automatic) even with the clutch fully pressed in. I figured it was either the master or the slave so I replaced both and it completely fixed it. Also greatly improved shifting

Out of nowhere my shifts were abrupt and the clutch pedal felt almost spongy - dead feeling. Car lurched forward even with pedal pushed to the floor. Ordered this kit from 5x Racing along with the steel line and within 2 days I had my miata up and running again. Great packaging and great quality parts, I was relieved that I was only without my miata for 2 days!
