Kit will replace your entire original rubber NB shock mount bushings and washers, providing superior Micro-cellular urethane (MCU) material that is more compliant and higher-performance. Kit fits 99-05 NB Miata M10 threaded shocks (ie: Stock, Bilstein, KYB (NOT Koni) and includes:

QTY 4 - NB specific M10 Shoulder nuts

QTY 4 - M14 top shock mount washers

QTY 4 - MCU upper shock mount bushings

QTY 4 - MCU lower shock mount bushings

QTY 4 - M10 red anodized aluminum lower shock mount washers

Description

We've finally unlocked the ability to use our MCU (micro-cellular urethane) shock bushings from our shock mount kits with the NB shocks! The key was our new NB specific M10 and M12 shoulder nuts, which interface with the longer shank on the top of the NB shock shafts. We've also chopped the price on this kit to be competitive with the OEM rubber replacement bits and washers, as we feel this upgrade is worth it and didn't want a high price to drive you towards the inferior OEM option.

This kit is designed for those who want to replace the toss the OEM original rubber shock mount bushings and huge, heavy cupped washers that come on the NB shocks from the factory. Our kit uses lower profile MCU urethane shock mount bushings, aluminum lower washers, zinc plated steel top washers, and our new NB specific shoulder nuts to tie it all together. The MCU material is far superior to the rubber in dampening ability and feel. Rubber is bouncy and heavy, MCU is light and compliant, which means higher performing. These components have been proven in Spec Miata racing for nearly 15-years, so we feel confident they will work very well for any application you decide to use them in.
