5X Racing 14mm Adjustable Rear Sway Bar for Mazda Miata

Years of racing Miata's has given us the ability to drive the Mazda Miata to its limit on the racetrack, and from that time behind the wheel, we determined what works well, and what could be improved. While the 16mm rear bars we're used to work well for a Spec Miata that has race compound tires and a fully adjustable suspension, a bar of this size is oftentimes too big for those who are focused on street, auto-x, and track day events. Having a rear sway bar that is too thick - or "big" - will cause the rear end of the car to become more loose, or oversteer (like drifting). While many people enjoy this sensation (unless you're drifting) this style of driving leads to slower lap times. Our 14mm rear bar is inspired by the 2004-2005 Mazdaspeed Miata which had a non-adjustable 14mm rear sway bar that Mazda deemed perfect to balance the higher powered turbo powerplant, however ours adds the benefit of 3-way adjustability to further improve the design. Paired with a set of adjustable end-links (our own brand coming soon), you can dial in your rear grip levels using the adjustment holes on the bar to suit your driving style, from safe to loose!
