If you race Spec Miata, chances are that you have heard of Carbotech brake pads. They are one of the best ways to find an advantage in a class where every little thing makes the difference between seconds in lap times. If you haven't tried Carbotech brake pads yet, you owe it to yourself to get a set and see if you can use them to improve your lap times over your current brake setup. We use Carbotech brake pads exclusively within the 5X Racing Spec Miata Team and have found that they are extremely easy on rotors, for instance we can go a whole 16 race season on a set of front rotors based on wear characteristics.
