Our ACL Race Series Complete Engine Bearing set for Miata's will provide all necessary engine bearings needed for rebuilding your Miata's engine. Please consult with your engine builder on whether or not you will need to use standard or oversized bearings as each engine is different and if you need to have your crankshaft resurfaced or not. 1 set - ACL Crankshaft Thrust Bearing Set for Mazda Miata (p/n: 1T8353) 1 set - ACL Race Series Connecting Rod Bearing Set for Mazda Miata (p/n: 4B8351H) 1 set - ACL Race Series Engine Main Bearing Set for Mazda Miata (p/n: 5M8353H)
High strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties Hardened steel backs on all rod bearings to improve the support of the bearing lining and assist with bearing retention in the housing. Increased crush for improved bearing retention Elimination of flash plating on the back of the bearings to improve heat transfer through the bearings and to maximize the grip between the bearings and its housing. Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high rpm and to assist in the formation of hydrodynamic oil films. 3/4 grooved Main Bearings to optimize bearing load carrying surface area and oil flow to the conrod bearings. Tight consistent wall tolerances to help you maintain consistent clearances. Enlarged ID chamfers on bearing edges where required to accommodate large fillet radius on performance crankshafts. Q: Some of the ACL Race Series bearings contain an X suffix. What does this mean?
The ACL Race Series Bearings that contain an X suffix have an extra +0.001" oil clearance over a STD sized bearing. These bearings are only available in the STD size. Q: Some of the ACL Race Series bearings contain a D suffix. What does this mean?
The ACL Race Series Bearings that contain an D suffix contain a dowel hole locator in the lower half. This is designed for engines that use dowel pins, but can also be used in engines without dowel pins.

I had a great experience with the ACL bearings and I would definitely purchase from 5Xracing again in the future. If you are in need of new bearings for your Mazda Miata, I highly recommend giving ACL a try.

Comments:
Bearings came well packaged by 5xracing. All my bearings where standard and specced out perfect, only one bearing has a less than great brand/ size stamp on it which may be difficult to read on the next rebuild. Overall great bearings and properly packaged, would purchase again in the future.
