Description
Forget the hassle of gutting the a/c evaporator box under the dash! The 5X Racing Miata A/C Delete Kit allows you to remove the entire a/c evaporator box under the dash while maintaining the use of the heater and defroster systems. The flexible tube fits between the blower motor assembly and the heater control box when the evaporator is removed. The rubber plugs fill the two large holes in the passenger side firewall where the a/c lines passed from the engine compartment to the cabin under the dash.

Purchased this with the intention of weight reduction and a cleaner engine bay on my 02 miata se. The ac delete kit looks awesome and cleans up the engine bay soo much. Not to mention the amount of weight you remove from the car.

Part was really easy to install and to take out the old AC box got everything cleaned up and in place the only thing I had trouble with was the original clamps which I ended up leaving out because they are a too small for this part and pinch the snorkel. I put in one push clip on each side that will hold it in place and I will eventually get heavy duty zip ties to make sure there will be no slippage.
