The soft top bars (M3 Sport) are designed for the OEM soft tops. These bars have a main hoop height as tall as the soft top will allow. These will NOT work with OEM removable hardtops or PRHT models
The M3 Sport Hardtop bars are the same as the M3 Sport for the soft top, but with a main hoop height 3/4" lower to accommodate the height of the hardtop. These will work with soft tops (but will leave more of a gap between the top of the main hoop and and soft top), but will not work with the PRHT models
The M3 Hard Bar is designed for Power Retractable Hard Top (PRHT) models. These bars have a much lower main hoop height than the M3 Sport versions, and could theoretically work with the soft top and OEM removable hard tops, but would not be an ideal fitment.
ALL Hard Dog roll bars are highly customizable. We took the time to separate some of the major options and create separate products for them on our site. If you cross-reference us to Hard Dog's site, you'll see they have it set up with the main bar (Hard, Sport) and you customize from there. We separated the main bars into horizontal or not, and hard top or soft top. These are all essentially the same bars, but with their options more defined to make shopping easier.
Hard Dog has almost no pictures of their bars, which is understandable considering the countless configurations they offer. We did our best to scavenge "close enough" pictures for the bars, but they might not be exact.
All of the bars we list are powdercoated low-gloss black. Hard Dog also offers polished stainless steel versions of all bars, however, we don't list them on our site as we feel these are best ordered from Hard Dog direct considering their special nature
All bars come with the appropriate hardware needed for installation
Some bars require trimming of interior panels for proper fitment
Please reference and check your rulebook or track rules regarding roll bars for convertibles. They might have specific rules on how the bar is constructed, and some of the Hard Dog bars might not meet that criteria
